QR Codes at Imagine RIT

Visitors to Imagine RIT often comment on the magnitude of the event. With 30,000-plus people roaming the campus and hundreds of exhibits spread out over 20 buildings no one should come expecting to see everything, but sometimes it can even be difficult to find that one exhibit you had hoped to see. We are working to make the print program more user-friendly each year and many visitors find the ability to build an itinerary online prior to the event helpful. This year we are starting to investigate whether QR Code technology could help visitors find their way around. If you are an RIT student, faculty or staff with expertise in this area, we’d love to get your ideas on how we could make this technology work for us during Imagine RIT.
