Volunteers

Volunteers are an essential part of Imagine RIT. Since making the call for volunteers on Tuesday, March 1, over 400 students, faculty, staff, and alumni have registered, and more are registering every day.

Volunteers at Imagine RIT are assigned to various locations throughout the day, which include, the Information Booth, Poster Tent, People Mover Stop, Roamer, Welcome Center, Field House, and they can even choose to volunteer within one of RIT’s colleges. Descriptions of each assignment are posted on the Imagine RIT website.

Imagine RIT volunteers provide direction to visitors of the festival and answer any questions. If you’re looking for incentive to volunteer this year, other than the self satisfaction of helping others, volunteers also receive a free t-shirt and lunch, provided by Dinosaur Bar-B-Que.

There’s still time to sign up. While the morning shifts seem to fill up quickly, there are many shifts open in the afternoon positions, as well as various shifts within the colleges.
