Kids visit campus to Connect a Million Minds

On Tuesday, March 27 students from the Rochester Boys and Girls Club and Wilson Foundation Academy participated in the “Wouldn’t It Be Cool If…?” competition in RIT’s Center for Student Innovation.  (See our recent post about WIBCI)

Teams presented their inventions to a panel of judges (pictured below) for a chance to win prizes like a Kindle Fire, Kindle Touch, and Kindle E-Reader. The grand prize winners from each area will head to St. Louis on April 28th to pitch their ideas to Black Eyed Peas front man will.i.am at the FIRST Robotics National Championship.
